Three Days of Elevation

Are you Ready to Ascend?

Watercolors 9: On Cloud 9 is a multi-day Juneteenth weekend experience designed to celebrate freedom through ownership, wellness, culture, and community collaboration. Rooted in elevation and legacy, this year’s Cloud 9 theme represents rising above limitations and intentionally taking control of the things we can control—our finances, our health, our relationships, and our future.

This weekend experience brings together education, culture, leisure, and celebration, while spotlighting the power of collaboration across community partners, businesses, and institutions.

MAIN EVENT – PM

Watercolors 9: On Cloud 9 intentionally reflects on legacy, love, and elevation. Year 9 is about honoring what shaped us while elevating where we’re going.

The music and films of the 1990s represent:

  • A defining era of Black love stories
  • Soundtracks that shaped identity, romance, and aspiration
  • A cultural moment many of us grew up in or were deeply influenced by

In Year 9, we look back not to stay there, but to celebrate how far we’ve come.
